You can upload any common image format including JPG, JPEG, PNG, and WEBP. When downloading your merged result, you can choose from:

MergeJPG supports batch uploads, so you can add several images in one go. The tool processes them all in your browser, so performance may vary depending on your device and the file sizes involved. You must upload at least two images to merge.

You can choose from three layout styles:

• Horizontal — images are placed side by side in a row
• Vertical — images are stacked on top of each other
• Grid (2 cols) — images arranged in a two-column grid

You can also set a custom gap (spacing between images) and choose a gap color to fill the space between them.

Yes. After uploading, you can drag and reorder your images to control exactly how they appear in the final merged file. Individual images can also be removed before merging using the remove button on each thumbnail.

Once your images are merged, a built-in editor lets you fine-tune the result before downloading:

• Adjustments — brightness, contrast, saturation, hue rotation, and blur
• Transform — rotate by degree, flip horizontally or vertically
• Crop — click to start a selection, drag to define the area, then apply
• Text overlay — add custom text with font, size, color, stroke, shadow, opacity, and alignment controls

All edits are applied in-browser before download.

In the Text Overlay section of the editor, type your text and configure the font (Arial, Georgia, Impact, and more), size, color, stroke, shadow style, and alignment. Then click “Click Image to Place Text” and tap anywhere on the preview to stamp your text at that position.

Yes. Use the Reset Edits button to revert all adjustments back to the freshly merged image. If you want to change the images themselves, use Back to Merge to return to the upload step without losing your file queue.

All processing happens locally in your browser — your images are never sent to a remote server. Files are automatically deleted from memory when you close the tab. This makes MergeJPG safe for sensitive documents, scanned IDs, or private photos.

MergeJPG is designed to maintain the original resolution of your images. The merged canvas is sized to fit all images at their natural dimensions — no upscaling or unwanted compression is applied during the merge step. If you save as JPG, a small amount of compression is inherent to the format itself, but quality is kept high.
